Bent Paddle Brewing Co. Celebrates 218 Days

DULUTH, Minn. — 218 Days has returned this weekend and it’s all about highlighting what makes our area code a great place to live, work, and visit.

Many local businesses are offering fun discounts and offerings hoping to draw the community in. Over at Bent Paddle Brewing Company there is live music all weekend, the Gumbo Guys making food, and baked bingo happening at the Canna Lounge on Saturday. And if you mention 218 Days you can even get 1 dollar off any beverage purchased.

The brewery hopes the event brings in many new people to see what they’re all about.

“To have a big reason for people to like come to the area and have a lot for them to do. And then also offer a lot of things that are indoors for when the weather’s not as good as well it is today. So, yeah, it’s nice to have people around when it’s a slower time of year and to have them fill up the spaces,” said Hannah Bourgault, Marketing and Content Coordinator for Bent Paddle.

And along with the events going on the brewery has a wide variety of beverages that it offers. So, there is always something different to try.

“Part of what we like to think about is how we are a community space and that means like being able to offer something for everyone. So, whether it’s like root beer, or coffee, or if people are looking to try something different like a THC drink it’s really nice just to be able to have options for people so they can still come out and still socialize and not feel like they’re left out because they only have the option of water,” said Bourgault.
