Legacy Cannabis to Hold Grand Opening Saturday
DULUTH, Minn. — Legacy Glassworks in downtown Duluth has rebranded to Legacy Cannabis and moved to Lincoln Park, and will now be hosting its grand opening Saturday.
Legacy Cannabis has a full array of THC products, from edibles, to mints and chocolate bars. At Saturday’s opening, the shop will be launching a line of THC hard candy.
The Minnesota law allows people to possess, use, and grow cannabis, and the new shop says they plan to get licensing to eventually become a full dispensary. The manager of the store says their mission is to end the stigma around cannabis usage.
“Just like all the propaganda and negative stigma that has been put towards the plants and put towards THC consumption, people are seeing beyond that veil now that we have these low dose products available in grocery stores, gas stations, everywhere you go you can buy a little pack of gummies with THC in it,” said Jonny Castle, Legacy Cannabis Manager.
The grand opening starts at 11 a.m. and will have various local musicians playing throughout the day, and even a grow class at noon.
The first 10 people through the door will receive 50% off and all other customers will get 30% off.
