Mirage’s State Title Hopes Dashed By Warroad in Class A Quarterfinals

The Mirage next head to the consolation bracket where they'll play Luverne on Thursday at 2 PM.

ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Proctor/Hermantown girls hockey team made their 4th straight appearance at state on Wednesday.

Sadly, their hopes at a title ended as they fell to Warroad 2 to 1 in overtime in the Class A quarterfinals.

Taylee Manion had the lone goal for the team with 40 seconds remaining in the 3rd period.

Under four minutes to go in the overtime period, Taylor Reese would net the game-winner for the Warriors.

The Mirage next head to the consolation bracket where they’ll play Luverne on Thursday at 2 PM.
