Girls Basketball: Superior Sees Season End in Region Semifinals, Marshall’s Win Streak Snapped

Superior finishes the year at 15-9 and the Hilltoppers now shift their focus to section play.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior girls basketball team opened up postseason play on Friday, taking on Appleton East in the Division one region semifinals.

Sadly, it didn’t go the Spartans way as they fell to the Patriots 63 to 49.

Superior finishes the season with a 15-9 overall record.

In other girls action, Duluth Marshall saw their nine game win streak come to a close as they fell to Perham 76 to 69.

The Hilltoppers are now 18-8 and will next head into section play.
