Mike’s Cafe & Pizzeria To Close After 40-Plus Years

ESKO, Minn. – One of the Northland’s longest-running restaurants is closing.

Mike’s Cafe & Pizzeria in Esko will end its nearly 42-year run on May 24.

Owners Mike and Deb Pracher moved to the Esko location in 2020 after 38 years in West Duluth.

A post on social media reads in part:

“Mike has worked hard in the restaurant business for almost 50 years and it has taken a toll on his body, so it time for him to slow a bit (and for those who know him, that’s very hard to do ) and ENJOY life!”
