Trio of Yellowjacket Men’s Hockey Players Sign Pro Deals in SPHL

Since the 2021-2022 season, the Yellowjackets have had 19 players sign professional contracts.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- A trio of UWS men’s hockey players have already started their pro careers.

Forwards C.J. Walker and Ty Proffitt, and defenseman Troy Quinn all signed pro contracts with the SPHL.

Walker, who led the Yellowjackets in scoring, is with the Birmingham Bulls.

Quinn joined the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs.

And lastly, Proffitt is now a member of the Fayetteville Marksmen.
