More Than 75 Employers at UWS Spring Career and Internship Fair
SUPERIOR, Wis. — More than 75 employers were at the University of Wisconsin-Superior Thursday helping students find the perfect job.
The Spring Career and Internship Fair is a networking event held twice a year. There is a large variety of industries available to try and meet every students need.
Opportunities range from volunteer positions, work from home jobs, and full or part time work. Anyone from in the community is welcome to attend.
“This is a great opportunity to practice your networking interactions so getting more comfortable with talking to employers is a great way to start,” said Liza Shelquist, Career Development Manager.
A transportation and logistics student says this career fair has been really helpful.
“A lot of these employers they have been more than accommodating. They’re very outspoken, they love talking. So, I’d say that there’s a really good chance of getting a job after this,” said Bill Krieg, a senior at UWS.
If students were not able to make the fair, the career development manager says she is always available to help students with their professional development.
