Three UMD Women’s Hockey Players Recognized By WCHA

The trio is next in action on Saturday against St. Cloud State in the WCHA Tournament.

DULUTH, Minn.- A trio of UMD women’s hockey standouts would be recognized by the WCHA on Thursday.

Leading the charge was Bulldog sophomore goaltender Hailey MacLeod as she was named to the 2nd team.

It’s the second straight year she’s been recognized by the conference.

On the 3rd team was senior defenseman Nina Jobst-Smith, her first conference honors.

Lastly, on the All-WCHA rookie team was MacLeod’s partner in net, Eve Gascon. This was also Gascon’s first conference honor.
