UWS Women’s Head Hockey Coach Dan Laughlin Retires After 21 Seasons

Laughlin would lead UWS to three NCHA regular season titles, one NCHA playoff title, and two national tournament appearances.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Longtime UW-Superior women’s hockey coach Dan Laughlin is retiring.

Laughlin would spend 21 years at the helm and would tally 300 wins exactly.

He would lead UWS to three NCHA regular season titles, one NCHA playoff title, and two national tournament appearances.

Laughlin was also named NHCA Coach of the Year four times and WIAC Coach of the Year twice.

A national search is underway for his replacement.
