Missing Bigfork Teen Found Safe
UPDATE (March 12, 1:15 p.m.) — A 16-year-old girl who went missing from her house in Bigfork has been found safe.
The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office canceled the alert for Alissa Plieseis on Tuesday afternoon. They thank everyone who assisted in locating her.

BIGFORK, Minn. — Authorities are asking for help in finding a teen who is missing from Bigfork.
The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Alissa Plieseis left her house on March 9 around 6:30 p.m. She left on foot and has not returned. According to the Minnesota BCA Missing Person Alert she was last seen wear a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Alissa is 5 foot 6 inches tall with blue eyes and red hair.
The Sheriff’s Office requests anyone with information on her whereabouts to call them at 218-326-3477.
