State Basketball: MIB Girls Roll Past Walker-Hackensack-Akeley for Class A Semifinal Berth

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Moutain Iron-Buhl girls basketball team opened up state tournament play on Thursday, topping Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 71 to 36 in the Class A quarterfinals.

The Rangers were led by Jordan Zubich, who had 20 points in the win. Right behind her was teammate Anna Neyens, who had 18.

MIB now advances to the semifinals on Friday. They’ll play Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at 2 PM.
