Fire Destroys Mobile Home, Two Dogs Deceased

DULUTH, Minn. — A mobile home in Duluth is a total loss after a fire happened Wednesday evening.

Duluth Fire says they received a report of a fire at a mobile home on Burger Drive with people still inside. Upon arrival, crews found a woman and her two kids inside. They were rescued and brought to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities say a search of the home found a dog and cat that were rescued. Two other dogs did not survive.

The home is a total loss with damages at about $150,000.

Authorities say the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The Duluth Fire Department Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
