Bulldogs Lose Sophomores MacLeod & Brunette to Transfer Portal

Both players would spend two seasons in Duluth.

DULUTH, Minn.-The UMD women’s hockey team would lose two to the transfer portal on Wednesday afternoon.

That included goalie Hailey MacLeod, who saw plenty of time in net, splitting with Eve Gascon.

In 19 games this season, MacLeod would post a record of 11-5-2. She would also have a saves percentage of .948.

Joining MacLeod in the portal was forward Danielle Brunette.

The Ham Lake native would skate in 44 games for UMD and tally two goals.

Both players would spend two seasons in Duluth.
