Vehicles Gearing up Ahead of Motorhead Madness
DULUTH, Minn. — Vehicles were rolling into the DECC Friday ahead of Motorhead Madness this weekend.
From classic to modern rides, 150 cars and trucks geared up for the show that starts Saturday. The event has fun for the whole family, from simulators, a RC track and even a robotics tournament. The car show will also be rewarding cash prizes, such as “Best Restored” and “Outstanding Custom.”
“People just talk about different things and they see different things they haven’t seen in years, and they’ll say, oh my Uncle had that car, or my aunt had that car, my Grandpa had that car, you run into a lot of that,” said Mike Podgornik, Co-Owner of Motorhead Madness.
This year, Motorhead Madness will be donating part of its proceeds to Wildwoods Wildlife Rehabilitation.
The show will run on Saturday from 10 a.m to 9 p.m and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for adults are $16 and $6 for children ages 6 to 12.
