Mont du Lac Resort Opens for a Bonus Day on Saturday

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Even though most skiers and snowboarders hung up their equipment a few weeks ago, many broke out their boards and skis and hit the slopes at Mont du Lac Resort on Saturday.

Mont du Lac closed its hills for the season two weeks ago, but after a winter storm brought fresh powder the resort held a bonus day.

People with passes for the recent and upcoming seasons had the chance to get in some last-minute hill runs.

The extended season got lots of people on the slopes as most of the runs were open for the day.
