DULUTH, Minn.- UMD senior Lauren Dixon would do something on Wednesday that she surprisingly hasn’t done in her softball career.

And that is throw a no-hitter.

Dixon would go five innings, striking out eight in UMD’s first game against Minnesota Crookston, leading the Bulldogs to the 8-0 win.

Following that game, UMD would once again take down the Golden Eagles 9 to 2.

UMD (27-12) will next host Sioux Falls in a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch of game one is set for 1 PM.
