11th Annual Zenith Conference Talks Digital Marketing

DULUTH, Minn. — More than 200 communications professionals and those who want to improve those efforts were in Duluth Thursday for the 11th annual Zenith Conference at Zeitgeist.

The purpose of the conference is for attendees to discuss changes, innovations, and opportunities in their industries to use digital marketing .

Being that this is a communications conference, one of the main focuses is ways to reach their target audiences.

The conference had different tracks to accommodate marketers with different levels of experience. One track was designed for small companies.

Rob Karwath of AIMCLEAR – A Digital Marketing Agency said, “You need to be on social media. You need to have a website. You need to have the kind of digital infrastructure and tools to reach your audience because that’s where you’re going to find your customers you’re going to make your case. So just being more confident when you’re doing that and being more proficient, that’s really the goal.”

There was a lot of talk at the conference on authenticity and how important that is to get your message to resonate with consumers. Experts say people are looking for products or companies that are authentic, that admit when they’ve made a mistake or bad choice, but also deliver meaningful stories that feature authentic messages
