Local Shop Celebrates Record Store Day

DULUTH, Minn. — A fun day highlighting vinyl records is happening Saturday.

Record Store Day is an international event celebrated by local record stores and music enthusiasts. Globe News in Superior offers a wide range of collectible items such as sports cards, comic books, and of course vinyl records. As part of the day the store got their hands on some exclusive vinyl’s and are having some great deals.

“One of the big ones that I was excited to see on the list this time was the Fleetwood Mac Rumors on picture disc. Normally that’s one of the ones like 80% of the time someone comes in asking for something that’s what they’re asking for, so we made sure to get a bunch of that,” said Randy Ross, Store Manager at Globe News.

Other new vinyl records in store include Noah Kahan and Taylor Swift albums. The store manager says if you don’t find something you’re looking for to ask them and they can help you. Again, Record Store Day is Saturday. The shop opens at 9 a.m.
