UWS Baseball Sweeps Minnesota Morris in Weekend Series

Yellowjackets now 17-12 overall

DULUTH, Minn.- After playing 21 innings on Sunday, the UW-Superior baseball team ended the weekend with three straight wins over Minnesota Morris at Wade Stadium.

Sunday’s first game of their doubleheader lasted 13 innings, but UWS survived with a 16-15 win. In game two, the Yellowjackets’ defense stayed strong, allowing no runs in the first six innings and ultimately winning 10-4.

UWS now stands at 17-12 overall with eight games remaining in the regular season. The Yellowjackets will be back at Wade Stadium on Wednesday to face St. Scholastica at 4 p.m.
