Former UMD Goaltender Hunter Shepard Wins Bastien Memorial Award

DULUTH, Minn.- Another day, another award for former UMD goaltender Hunter Shepard.
The current Hershey Bear won the Aldege “Baz” Bastien Memorial Award, which is given annually to the most outstanding goaltender in the AHL.
Shepard went 27-4-3 in 34 appearances and would lead the league with a 1.76 goals-against average.
Just recently, he was named to the AHL First All-Star Team and was awarded the Harry “Hap” Holmes Memorial Award winner alongside teammate Clay Stevenson.
