Northwood/Solon Springs’ Abe Ahlberg Tallies 100th Career Hit, Also Hurls 20 K’s for School Record

The Northwood/Solon Springs baseball team is off to a 6-0 start this season and are currently ranked 3rd in the state coaches poll.

SOLON SPRINGS, Wis.- It was a day to remember for Northwood/Solon Springs’ senior Abe Ahlberg.

In Tuesday’s 9 to 1 victory for the Evergreens over Prairie Farm, Ahlberg would club his 100th career hit.

The special day wouldn’t stop there as Ahlberg would also toss 20 strikeouts, which is a school record.
