UMD Softball Opens Final Stretch of Regular Season with Sweep of Minot State
With the two wins, UMD moves ahead of Minot State by one game in the NSIC standings.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD softball team picked up two key wins against Minot State on Thursday.
In game one, the Bulldogs would shut out the Beavers by a final of two to nothing.
Allison Luoma would go four innings and strike out two to earn the win in the circle.
Following that contest, another shutout in favor of UMD as they win six to nothing.
Lauren Dixon went five innings and picked up 8 K’s.
With the two wins, UMD moves ahead of Minot State by one game in the NSIC standings.
UMD (37-14) will next be in action on Friday when they host UMary in a doubleheader.
