UMD’s Treyvon Cahalan to Attend New Orleans Saints Rookie Minicamp
Minicamp set for May 10-12
DULUTH, Minn.- After four stellar seasons on the UMD offensive line, Treyvon Cahalan will get a shot at playing in the NFL.
After not being selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints have invited Cahalan to participate in their rookie minicamp, set for May 10-12.
During his time with the Bulldogs, Cahalan was twice selected to the NSIC First Team. In 2023, he was named to the 2023 D2Football.com Elite 100 list and was a second-team All-American.
If Cahalan signs a contract, he’ll become the first rookie from UMD to sign with an NFL team since former teammate Brent Laing, who signed with the New York Jets in the 2023 offseason. Laing is currently with the Los Angeles Chargers.
