New Consulting Agency in Duluth Helping Community Unplug and Recharge
DULUTH, Minn. — A new agency is helping community members ditch the Wi-Fi and network face to face through a new series of events.
Brico Works is a new consulting agency focused on helping non-profits and social change organizations. They consult for core services around development, fundraising, communications, and operations.
The founder is hosting a co-working series at Lester Amity Chalet to bring people together to connect in different ways instead of through technology. Whether that’s having a conversation over a cup of coffee or hiking with a friend. Anyone is welcome to join and every week there is a panel discussion.
“I am one of the most techy people that I know but there is something really unique about that face to face and like getting to know someone in that space you just form a different type of a connection. I think we can do a lot of connecting online but this is a whole different way. And so, even though we’ve met new friends, it’s just people I wouldn’t have connected with otherwise,” said Janie Moore, founder of Brico Works.
There are two more events on May 16th and May 30th. Topics include reducing waste and climate action.
