Duluth’s Vista Fleet Cruising On For 65th Year
DULUTH, Minn. — There was beautiful weather Friday morning in Duluth as an annual tradition took place.
The Vista Fleet’s first tour departed marking the 65th year of operations. The cruising season includes a range of experiences for locals and tourists from sightseeing, dining cruises, or any special event you need to rent a boat.
The fleet of two boats include the Vista Queen and Vista Star. And this year they are docking in the boat slip near the William A. Irvin.
“It’s a really great way to see Duluth from a new perspective. A lot of people don’t get to see what the hillside looks like from the water. So, this is a great way to get out, learn a lot about the history of the area, the history of the shipping industry and then obviously one of the best perspectives is going underneath the Aerial Lift Bridge,” said Katy Rochel, Brand & Marketing Manager for Vista Fleet and Zenith Adventure.
For the 65th year of operations, Vista Fleet will be diving into the history of the boat, changes in the vessels over the years, as well as highlighting the crew. Check out their social media pages for those updates.
