DULUTH, Minn. — A food truck highlighting Chicago cuisine has now opened their brick-and-mortar building.

Tom’s Taste of Chicago is in the former VIP Pizza building in West Duluth. The new spot is known for its Italian beef and Chicago dogs. And with the new building they are also offering thin crust style pizza.

Tom grew up in a suburb south of Chicago and wanted to bring that authentic food here. He says feedback from customers has been great.

“We definitely love what we do, and we love the food that we serve, and they love it. So, to be able to share that with them and dance around in the lobby, that’s a great addition to what we do,” said Tom Nicholl, manager.

Tom’s Taste of Chicago will update on their Facebook page for hours of operations. The food truck will still be out but now will expand its lineup of towns to visit, including Two Harbors, Virginia and Cloquet.
