Hermantown’s River Freeman Signs Tender with Minnesota Wilderness

Just this past season, Freeman had his best year with the Hawks, tallying 22 goals and 27 assists.

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- A current Hermantown Hawk will soon be suiting up for the Minnesota Wilderness.

Forward River Freeman signed a tender with the club out of Cloquet.

Just this past season, Freeman had his best year with the Hawks, tallying 22 goals and 27 assists. The year prior, he would have just 13 goals and 14 assists.

Number 23 played a big role in leading Hermantown to the Class A title game, before falling to St. Cloud Cathedral.

Freeman and the Hawks finished with an overall record of 20-9-2.
