Summer Leagues Are Starting Up At Skyline Social & Games
HERMANTOWN, Minn. –Summer is getting closer, which means the outside fun at Skyline Social & Games is back.
The summer leagues at Skyline are kicking off this month, with volleyball games starting Monday evening with bocce ball and bean bags starting on May 20.
Over 300 volleyball teams of all skill levels are hitting the court in this years summer league. Games run Mondays to Thursdays, and up to 90 volleyball teams a night can faceoff.
There is different levels of competition for players off all experiences.
“We’ve got a variety of levels, we’ve got intermediate, (recreation), advanced for volleyball, we’ve got an upper league as well so it’s kind of a little bit for everyone,” said Megan Bell, Marketing and Sales Manager at Skyline Social & Games. “We have a women’s only league on Tuesdays as well, so that’s kind of fun to have a little variety.”
The summer leagues run through September, with four weeks of playoffs in August. Skyline says there are still few spots open for teams who are interesting in joining a league.
