Cloquet Outreach Center Annual Fundraiser May 17th

CLOQUET, Minn. — A fundraiser supporting a mental health and recovery services provider is taking place next Friday.

The Cloquet Outreach Center Annual Fundraiser includes a lasagna dinner, silent auction, and raffle drawings. The event will take place at the Human Development Center. Funds raised goes toward supporting the center and its mission of helping those in need.

The Outreach Center served 160 people just in March. One woman has been visiting the center for over 20 years. She says the fundraiser is an opportunity to see what they do.

“You know people don’t know we exist and everybody that comes here to the fundraiser takes away a little piece that we’re here. That we’re available, we’re accessible, we’re friendly people. You know it’s just the goal of the Outreach has always been to be that connection to the community for people with mental illnesses,” said Susan Banta, visitor of the Outreach Center.

Everyone is welcome to go to the fundraiser. That’s happening May 17th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
