Traverse Duluth to Participate in E-Bike Rebate Program
DULUTH, Minn. — Minnesota will introduce a new program that looks to get more people out on the biking trails, and one Duluth company is participating.
Traverse Duluth will be a retailer in Minnesota’s e-bike rebate program. The program will give applicants a discount of up to $1,500, covering 50% to 75% of the purchase of a bike and accessories.
Starting June 5 people can apply for a rebate and on July 1 rebate certificates will be issued to approved individuals.
“So an e-bike really gives people the opportunity to ride that maybe wouldn’t keep up with friends or that just want to go longer during the day or just looking for a more leisurely experience,” said Eric Holl, Manager of Traverse Duluth. “So you have the option to do pedal assist or just hit the throttle and go and not have to so any work.”
Traverse Duluth is a bike rental store located right off multiple biking trails, including the Duluth Traverse Trail, so after renting a bike you can ride right into adventure.
