Superior Softball Handles Eau Claire North in First Round of WIAA Regionals

Superior will travel to play New Richmond on Thursday in the 2nd round.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior softball team is one step closer to returning to Madison for the state tournament.

On Wednesday, the Spartans would top Eau Claire North 13-3 in five innings in the first round of the WIAA playoffs.

Next up, they’ll travel to New Richmond on Thursday.

The Spartans would fall to the Tigers earlier in the season, 9-2 on April 13th.
