Old World Meats Ready For Memorial Day Weekend
DULUTH, Minn. — Memorial Day weekend may mean many things but to one Duluth meat shop, it is the start of their year.
Old World Meats is fully prepared to welcome customers to make their weekend full of delicious food. The owner says after many years of business he knows what the people want- that’s brats, burgers and steaks. Popular items are the blueberry wild rice brats and sauerkraut brats. Their polish sausage is also the grandpa’s original recipe.
They see customers from both in town and out of town. The meat shop looks forward to these busy weekends.
“And it’s the lawns going, the barbeques. That motivation of just people in good spirits, they’re off to the lake, they have things going on. It’s kind of like when you get a little older you end up hibernating and then in the spring, we all pop out and some of the faces I hadn’t seen you know since the fall,” said Paul Wrazidlo, owner of Old World Meats.
Old World Meats will be temporarily closed after July 4th to work on some much-needed roof repairs. Stop on in before as they could be closed for up to 5 weeks.
