MAPLE, Wis.- A longtime Northwestern softball coach is saying goodbye to the program.

Scott Janigo is retiring after leading the Tigers the last 15 seasons.

During his time, Northwestern won six conference titles, numerous region championships and one sectional title back in 2016.

That 2016 season was a special one as it marked the Tigers first trip to state in almost 40 years.

Janigo and the Tigers were eliminated by Spooner on Tuesday in the D3 sectional semifinals.
