Two Women Critically Injured in Car Crash, International Falls

INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. — Two women are hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle accident Tuesday evening.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, the Alfa SUV was traveling eastbound on Highway 11 near MP209, lost control on a corner, hit a pontoon trailer and rolled into a tree.

The driver is identified as 18-year-old Kaylee Rae Scholler of International Falls. The passenger is identified as 20-year-old Gracie Della Bowles of International Falls.

The accident happened in the 6 pm hour. The two occupants were transported to Duluth St. Mary’s Hospital.

Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
