Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland Receives Big Donation From Taco Bell Foundation

DULUTH, Minn. — The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland received their biggest donation yet from the Taco Bell Foundation.

$31,500 was raised through Taco Bell’s Round Up Program and it is all thanks to customer donations. The Taco Bell Foundation annually gives to the Boys and Girls Clubs. They are proud to support an organization that supports youth education and career readiness nationwide.

“We work hard every day in and out of the stores to try to bring awareness to our community that we are here, we’re here to support them and when you come through the drive thru or you come in and we ask you to round up that’s where that money comes from,” said Jenn Coleman, Area Coach for Taco Bell Border Foods.

This donation allows the Boys and Girls Clubs to continue their efforts.

“To provide programming after school, mentoring, tutoring, healthy lifestyles programs, meals, snacks, mental health services, opportunities for them for career advancement and development and the list goes on and on,” said Tammy Sundbon, Chief Development Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland serves Duluth, Superior, Grand Rapids, Greenway and Hibbing.
