Northland College Hires Ashland Native Nicholas Nemec as New Cross Country Coach

Nemec previously served as the cross country coach at Ashland Middle School.

ASHLAND, Wis.- Northland College has a new head cross country coach.

Ashland native Nicholas Nemec is set to lead the team for the upcoming 2024 season.

He’s previously served as the cross country coach at Ashland Middle School.

Nemec also has some experience at his alma mater, as he was a volunteer coach at UW-Superior.

During his playing days, Nemec was a part of the 2017 UMAC championship team. He also made state four times as an Oredocker.
