Historic Hoyt Lakes Landmark Discovered In Flames; Reward Being Offered

 

HOYT LAKES, Minn. — The East Range Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever started a historic landmark on fire in Hoyt Lakes.

On June 6, Steven Chambers, as it is known, was discovered on fire around 9 p.m.

The building sustained significant damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but officials call it “suspicious.”

Police encouraged anyone with information to come forward. They said the fire could have started as early at 7 p.m.
