Northwood/Solon Springs Baseball’s First State Tournament Ends in D4 Title Game Loss

Northwood/Solon Springs finishes the season with a 20-2 overall record.

GRAND CHUTE, Wis.- The Northwood/Solon Springs baseball team played in their first-ever state title game on Friday, as they battled with Eleva-Strum.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals were just too much for the Green Eagles. Eleva-Strum put up seven runs in the first and four runs in the 2nd en route to an 11-1 victory.

Blaise Kidder tallied the lone RBI for the Green Eagles in the top of the 2nd.

Thursday’s title victory was the first in program history for the Cardinals.

Northwood/Solon Springs finishes the season with a 20-2 overall record.
