Power Restored After Dump Truck Strikes Power Line On London Road

DULUTH, Minn. —  Power was restored Tuesday to more than 1,000 customers after a dump truck struck a power line on London Road, taking down a power pole with it.

The accident happened at 18th Avenue East and London Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The utility pole landed onto the front porch of a home.

The driver of the truck told FOX 21 that he thought that back of his truck was lowered after dumping a load.

No injuries were reported.
