Jury: Sanussi Bangoura Guilty in Fatal Drive-By Shooting

DULUTH, Minn. — A 22-year-old Duluth man has been found guilty for his involvement in the death of a man and injuring another last august.

The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office says a jury has found 22-year-old Sanussi Bangoura guilty of three felonies including aiding and abetting second degree murder and drive-by shooting.

Bangoura and his co-defendent 25-year-old Brandon Williams-Gillard shot from a vehicle toward 19-year-old Paris Allen and four other men who were standing in the area of the 25-hundred block of west 2nd street in Duluth.

Allen died at the scene from gunfire, and another man was injured.

Williams-Gillard was recently sentenced to 480 months in prison for the same three charges Bangoura is now convicted of.

Sentencing will be scheduled for a later date.
