Duluth’s Costco Evacuated Due To Refrigerant Leak, Back Open To The Public
DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth’s Costco was evacuated after smoke was reported coming from the store on Monday afternoon.
Authorities say when the Duluth Fire Department arrived, they found a refrigerant leak due to some work on the refrigeration system by workers.
Officials say the fire department vented the building and will continue to monitor the situation.
The store is now back open to the public.
Authorities say no injuries or symptoms of illnesses were reported.
