2 Of 3 Suspects Arrested In April Downtown Duluth Murder
DULUTH, Minn. — Two Duluth murder suspects from out of state are under arrest for their alleged involvement in a fatal downtown stabbing that involved shots fired.
On April 12, Chantel Moose, 25, of Duluth was stabbed in the neck after bar close outside Spurs on First on the 100 block of West First Street.
On Wednesday, the U.S. Marshall’s Office arrested the accused killer, Darrius Plummer, 34, of Canton, Michigan. Plummer is charged with second-degree murder.
Kimonte Cadge, 26, of Illinois was also arrested Wednesday. He is charged for allegedly pistol-whipping Plummer and firing a gun at him.
Meanwhile, a third suspect, Trayvon Walters, 26, of Duluth remained on the run Thursday. He is charged for allegedly shooting in the direction of Plummer and Cadge.
While a motive is still not clear, court documents say Plummer was friends with the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
