UMD’s Riley Tufte Departs Avalanche for Bruins on Day 1 of Free Agency

The Bruins will be Tufte's 3rd NHL Team.

BOSTON, Mass.- After spending the 2023-2024 season with the Colorado Avalanche organization, Riley Tufte is heading east to join the Boston Bruins

It’s a one-year, $775,000 dollar deal.

Most of his playing time came with the Colorado Eagles, the Avalanche’s AHL affiliate. In 70 games, he had 23 goals and 23 assists.

Tufte did also play a bit with the Avalanche, tallying one goal and one assist in five games.

The Bruins will be Tufte’s 3rd NHL Team.
