One-Time Husky Hunter Bigge Called Up to MLB By Chicago Cubs

DULUTH, Minn.- A former Husky received the call-up to the big leagues over the weekend.

Relief pitcher Hunter Bigge is set to make his pro debut with the Chicago Cubs.

Bigge played for the Huskies in the summer of 2018. In 10 games, he had four wins and two losses with an ERA of 3.14. Bigge also had 52 strikeouts in 51 innings pitched.

The Orlando, Florida native’s next opportunity to pitch will come Tuesday when the Cubs visit the Baltimore Orioles. First pitch is scheduled for 5:35 PM.
