Former Huskies Pitcher Hunter Bigge Makes MLB Debut with Chicago Cubs

Bigge threw a perfect inning in the Cubs win over the Orioles on Tuesday night.

BALTIMORE, Maryland.- It was a night former Huskies pitcher Hunter Bigge will never forget.

Making his major league debut in the Cubs contest against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday, Bigge came on in the 9th to end the game.

He then proceeded to throw a perfect inning, striking out one and allowing no walks. Bigge also threw 13 pitches, 11 of which were strikes.

The Orlando, Florida native last suited up for the Huskies in the summer of 2018. He appeared in 10 games.
