Teens Laugh Out Loud at Improv Summer Camp

DULUTH, Minn. – Class is back in session at the Zeitgeist as nine teenagers take the stage for Renegade Comedy’s first Teen Improv Intensive.

Teens ranging in ages from 13 to 19 will learn how to make stuff up and keep the comedy rolling.

Renegade Comedy has offered classes on and off for the last 20 years.

“Improv as a skill set can be applied to all walks of life. Learning how to say, ‘yes and’ and building with a team. Having confidence in front of people, learning how to fail and moving on, confidently. These are all skills that you can learn at any age. So, it’s great that we are getting some of those teenagers in to learn those things now.”

This upcoming Friday at 4, Renegade Comedy will feature a public improv show showing the skills learned by the teens at Zeitgeist’s Teatro stage. Coming up this fall, they will all open up other improv classes for adults, teenagers, and youths.
