Hermantown Native Ryan Sandelin Joins Iowa Wild on One-Year Deal
Sandelin spent the last two seasons with the Colorado Eagles, the affiliate of the Avalanche.
HERMANTOWN, Minn.- A former Hermantown standout is moving a little closer to home.
Forward Ryan Sandelin has agreed to a one-year, two-way deal with the Iowa Wild, the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild.
He’s spent the last two seasons with the Colorado Eagles, who are the affiliate of the Avalanche.
In 43 games, Sandelin tallied seven goals and three assists. He also had a stint with the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL, where he had three goals and three assists in seven games.
Sandelin last played for Hermantown in 2017.
