Man Arrested After Downtown Duluth Stabbing
Update (2 p.m.): Duluth police have arrested a 30-year-old Duluth man after an early morning stabbing downtown Tuesday.
The man is being held on pending charges of first-degree assault after police say the man stabbed the victim in the neck at 214 E. Superior Street, which is the Gichi-Ode’ Akiing Park.
The stabbing was reported around 3:45 a.m.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, was in a local hospital in stable condition Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
A motive was not immediately clear, but officials said the suspect and victim are known to each other.
DULUTH, Minn. — A 29-year-old man was stabbed in the neck overnight in downtown Duluth on Tuesday, July 16.
Duluth Police responded to a report of a stabbing about 3:45 a.m, in the 200 block of E. Superior Street, according authorities.
The victim was located with a stab wound to his neck. He was transported to a local hospital, and his status is unknown at this time.
The initial investigation shows the victim and the suspect are known to each other.
