Duluth Used Less Lethal Force Armed Burglar Caught in Act

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth Police used less lethal options against an armed burglar who they say wouldn’t peacefully surrender after getting caught in the act.

This happened around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in an apartment complex on E 2nd St.

The 47-year-old male suspect was eventually arrested.

Authorities say he was armed with a box cutter.

No officers were injured.

Formal charges are still pending.
