UMD Women’s Basketball Names Ashley Gustavson as Intern Assistant Coach

Gustavson played for both Wayne State and Minnesota State-Moorhead.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s basketball team has added to their coaching staff.

And it’s a former NSIC rival.

Former MSU-Moorhead and Wayne State student-athlete Ashley Gustavson has joined the team as an intern assistant coach.

Just this past year, she averaged four and a half points in all 29 games for the Dragons.

Before that, she played four years at Wayne State college in Nebraska.
